“C Chris Kaashoek is returning to his old stomping ground, Kempen Capital Management, as senior portfolio manager for Kempen’s global small-cap team. Since ending his first stint at Kempen, Mr Kaashoek had been business development manager at Broadview Holding.
C David Walker is also returning home, in his case to Edinburgh, where he will take up the role of investment director with F&C Investments’ private equity funds team. Mr Walker was previously head of infrastructure funds at the Luxembourg-based European Investment Bank.
C Capital Group has appointed Henning Busch as managing director for institutional clients in Germany and Austria. He joins from Credit Suisse.
C Cherie Hamoudi is Edinburgh-bound as she becomes investment director of Rathbone Investment Management’s office in the city. Ms Hamoudi switches from Barclays Wealth & Investment Management.
C John Spiers, former chief executive of Bestinvest, has recruited five ex-colleagues for his new wealth management group, EQ Investors. The recruits include Mike Neumann, previously director of investment management at Bestinvest, Andrew Rees, an associate director, and Katharine Lindley, director of financial planning, as well as Sophie Muller and Kate West. Daniel Bland, investment manager at Quilter Cheviot, has also joined EQ.
C Spain’s March Asset Management has added Francisco Rodriguez to its commercial team. Mr Rodriguez, who has the experience of managing a fund in Venezuela on his CV, previously worked in business development for Funds People.
C David Morley has been appointed as vice-president and business development director for UK institutional at Eaton Vance Management International. Mr Morley was previously head of institutional sales for the UK and Nordic region at Lombard Odier Investment Managers.

C Morningstar has named Matt Fellowes as chief innovation officer. Mr Fellowes will also continue to run HelloWallet, a provider of personalised financial guidance acquired by Morningstar last year.
